Kinetic River Welcomes Ann Lu to the Team

Today, we’re pleased to highlight Ann Lu, one of our Principal Scientists, and the most recent addition to the Kinetic River team! With over 25 years of experience in the biotech industry, Ann brings to the table deep expertise in the design, development, and validation of cellular and biochemical assays. 

Ann’s journey in flow cytometry began as a research assistant intern in college, and continued at the renowned Stanford Herzenberg Laboratory. She later earned her PhD in Molecular Biology from UCLA. 

Ann has extensive experience collaborating with and training researchers on the ins and outs of their flow cytometers and other analyzers. She finds that seeing the instruments she works on come to life in the hands of customers is one of the best parts of the job. 

She is drawn to working with novel, innovative instrumentation and enjoys bringing blossoming ideas to fruition. This makes her a perfect fit here at Kinetic River, where our mission is to develop cutting-edge tools for biomedical research.
