National Cancer Institute Orders Potomac Modular Flow Cytometer The National Cancer Institute (NCI) gave Kinetic River a vote of confidence earlier this year when it ordered a Potomac Modular Flow Cytometer customized to use novel light sources. The Potomac system is the perfect choice for this project; using off-the-shelf parts, it is easily customized and reconfigured. CYTO 2013 (http://bit.ly/13eztBo) (XXVIII Congress of the International Society for Advancement of Cytometry), the annual “watering-hole” gathering for cytometrists of all shapes and sizes, took place in San Diego this year, and it was exciting as ever.
